They’re styles we’re seeing people save, scroll back to, and actually live with. Here’s what’s shaping kitchens right now, and why it works so well in real homes.
Clean lines are staying, but they’ve softened. Think modern kitchens with a warmer edge. Natural woods and sleek finishes you want to touch.
Matt cabinetry is big this year, especially in calm, earthy tones like clay, pebble and soft olive. Matt doors also hide fingerprints better, which matters when the kitchen’s the main family hub space, not a pristine showroom! Paired with simple handles or handleless gola rails, it keeps the kitchen space looking tidy without feeling bare.

Kitchens in 2026 shouldn’t stand alone. They need to integrate seamlessly into the rest of the home. As open plan living continues to dominate, kitchens are being designed to look and feel more like part of the wider space, rather than purely a functional standalone zone.
